The objective of the Diaspora Foundation through the Banaticum.ro portal is to share with the wide public the results achieved in the field of historiography and local history. In this way, we can provide information on the historical buildings of Timisoara, presentation of cultural and historical events, descriptions of the town's flagship institutions, the personalities that contributed to the city's current appearance, which contributed to the architectural and cultural development of the city. At the same time, the portal does not stop only on the city of Timişoara, it has a coverage area of the historic Banat, including territories from the current Hungary and Serbia.
